Peter van Beeck

Peter, founder of Scotwork Benelux, joined Scotwork in 2004 as an Associate Tutor. He started by delivering the Scotwork programme in Europe to large organisations in various industries. In 2006 he founded Scotwork Belux and became Managing Director. Since 2008 he has been the Managing Director of Scotwork Benelux. Peter provides our clients with coaching and consulting services to support them with strategic business, changing situations and negotiations. After his studies, he became an account manager for technology companies such as Ascom and Racal Electronics. From 1995 to 1998 he was Regional Manager for Flanders at ComTech (Dimension Data). In 1998, he joined Cisco to strengthen the telecom team; he was responsible for the Belgacom group. All contract negotiations between Cisco and the Belgacom Group were managed by Peter. Peter is a passionate horse rider and competes in various western disciplines.

Suzanne Reijn

Suzanne is a trainer and coach with over 30 years' experience in corporate finance, negotiation, presentation skills and personal development. After studying business administration at the University of Amsterdam, she joined Deloitte in 1991 as a corporate finance consultant, becoming an equity partner in 1999. In 2002, Suzanne was appointed Managing Partner of the Deloitte Human Capital Group, where she worked until 2006. In 2006, Suzanne set up her own training company, LaVi Communicatie, focusing on presentation skills and management development. Since 2008, Suzanne has been Managing Partner of Scotwork Benelux, where she works for a very diverse portfolio of national and international clients in the FMCG, Financial Services and Healthcare sectors, for clients such as Ahold, Beijersdorf, Metro, Deloitte and a number of large hospitals, e.g. Erasmus MC. Outside of negotiations, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family, friends, horses and dogs.

Dirk Mertens

During Dirk's sales career in the IT environment, he has been fortunate to have had several roles from junior sales to key account and business development management. Selling whole projects and solutions in the ERP and BI environment gave him the opportunity to develop his sales and negotiation skills at CxO level. Companies Dirk has worked for include Progress, Oracle, SAP and SAP implementation partners. The last 10 years of Dirk's career were spent as a headhunter in the same business environment where he also coached sales and sales leaders. Dirk is passionate about helping people achieve higher levels of capability, performance and expertise. He helps high potentials to expand their comfort zone and effectiveness. Sanne Marie Van Der Zwan

After completing her master's degree in Economics at the University of Groningen, Sanne Marie started her career in the Financial Management Traineeship at L'Óreal. After having worked in FMCG for 5 years, she made the switch to retail. This move also marked the transition from finance to commerce. As Lead Category Manager at Ahold, she had her own P&L and all underlying responsibilities, including strategy, assortment, pricing, promotions and negotiating annual deals with Ahold's suppliers. Since her interest and heart was mainly in the negotiation part, she decided to put negotiation at the centre of her work in 2018 by joining as a trainer and consultant. At Scotwork, she helps various organisations such as Erasmus MC, Ahold, Uber and Vattenfall improve their negotiation skills and results. Sanne likes to spend time with her husband and three daughters and is a passionate photographer.
